Our School Ethos and values

Following a staff and governor development day these common aims were agreed...

Vision Statement

Our vision at St Paul's is to create a rich, exciting, stimulating and safe environment where children love to learn and teachers love to teach within a caring Christian environment.

Mission Statement

We will work continuously in partnership with the local community to ensure every child is valued as an individual child of God. We will promote a love of lifelong learning to prepare our children to be successful citizens of our ever changing world. We will encourage responsible risk taking, creativity and independence within a Christian ethos.

Ethos Statement

Recognising its historic foundation, the school will preserve and develop its religious character in accordance with the principles of the Church of England in partnership with the Churches at parish and diocesan level. The school aims to serve its community by providing an education of the highest quality within the context of Christian belief and practice. It encourages an understanding of the meaning and significance of faith, and promotes Christian values through the experience it offers to all its pupils.'

Faith & Family

As a Primary School we are able to provide a continuity of policy and approach. The curriculum incorporates specific key areas of knowledge, as well as skills, concepts and attitudes. Through the provision of a variety of experiences, the school is able to offer a broad, balanced curriculum which is relevant to all children, allows for individual differences and provides continuity and progression.
