At St Paul's CE Primary School, we have a strong and meaningful connection with St Paul's Church. Reverend David Chadwick, the Chair of Governors at St Paul's Church, regularly visits the school to lead whole school Worship sessions, which are aligned with our school themes or special events in the church calendar. Our pupils also attend services at St Paul's Church throughout the academic year.

Together with Father David, we lead special events like the Harvest Festival, Remembrance Day Service, and Mothering Sunday Service, engaging with the wider community. Some of our amazing pupils participate in the Church Fayre, helping raise funds for St Paul's Church. Last year, we had the privilege of hosting our ISingPop Concerts at the Church, which was a truly memorable experience, bringing together pupils from Key Stages 1 and 2, along with their families, to celebrate and worship. We also participate in the annual St Patrick’s Church Christmas Event, where local church communities unite.

Our School Choir also plays a key role in our 'Carols by Candlelight' service during the Autumn Term, a beautiful event filled with awe and wonder.

Additionally, we work closely with Wearside Youth for Christ, who regularly visit the school to lead collective worship. They also guide our pupils through Prayer Spaces Events focused on the Christmas and Easter stories, offering our pupils valuable time for reflection and exploration of deep, meaningful questions.
