St Paul's CE Primary School FRIENDS group have worked so so hard this year. A HUGE thank you to you all, you have dedicated your time to help to create amazing experiences for our children...

'The 2023-2024 year has been amazing ending with our summer fair in which we raised a staggering....... £1508!!! Thank you to everyone who supported and attended 💕

The funds all go into making the school even better for the children, and here are some of the things we have funded this last school year:

* £1000 for bikes, scooters and helmets (which we successfully also obtained match funding from Sunderland Council community chest resulting in £2000 total!)
* £500 towards the school library
* sandpits
* gazebos
* sponsored a seat for 15 years in the Beamish cinema with the school name on (E1 if anyone wants to have a look for it)
* handtools for Mr Goodrick
* Y6 leavers pizzas, sweet jars and cakes
* chocolate lollies for everyone in the Easter hunt
* KS2 play equipment (bats, balls, hula hoops etc)
* candles for the choir by candlelight performance
* Christmas inflatables

Alongside this, it's not just all about the fundraising. Being able to hold fun events like the discos, Summer Fair, Christmas movie night etc will hopefully create amazing memories for our children 💖

A huge thank you to the members of the friends group. They do all this in their spare time and it's no easy task. Many hours dedicated to enriching the lives of all the children of St Pauls. Forever proud of the work they do!'
